The Leicester Greek Dancing Group continues for yet another year.  We have been exploring dances from the islands and the mainland, and listening to different musical pieces in order to recognize the rhythms and the instruments. At every lesson we have lots of fun and all our participants agree that Greek dancing is a great physical activity.

Starting this September, we will explore circle dances from other countries. Our aim is to visit traditional dances from the Balkans and Eastern Europe, and in a similar way like with the Leicester Greek Dance, to explore rhythms, instruments, and patterns in the dances.
